Instructors: How to obtain Analytic Solver licenses for course

Obtaining student software licenses for Analytic Solver Data Science for instructors using Machine Learning for Business Analytics, 4th ed., by Shmueli et al.

OPTION A (free student licenses):  For Instructors requiring each enrolled student to purchase a copy of Machine Learning for Business Analytic, 4th Edition, which entitles the student to a free 140-day license:

1. Email academic@solver.com to say you have adopted the 4th edition, and need a “Course Code.” Specify your school, the course, expected number of students, and be sure to say that you are requesting the “free 140-day license that comes with Machine Learning for Business Analytics (4th edition) by Shmueli et al.”  We suggest the following text (or click the email link above for a pre-filled email):
   “I am Professor ____, teaching a course on _____ at ______ University. I have adopted the textbook Machine Learning for Business Analytics with Analytic Solver Data Science by Shmueli et. al (4th edition). I would like a course code that my students can use to get the free 140-day license that comes with this textbook."

2. When you get the course code, share it with students.

3. Direct students to enter the course code at https://www.solver.com/welcome-students; leave the book code blank.

4. Although the standard student price is $25, use of your course code will discount the price so it shows as $0.

OPTION B ($25 student licenses): For Instructors using Machine Learning for Business Analytics, 4th Edition and not requiring each enrolled student to purchase a copy of the book (students will purchase their own licenses to Analytic Solver for $25 each):

1. Email academic@solver.com to say you are using the 4th edition but not requiring students to purchase it, and need a “Course Code.” Specify your school, the course, expected number of students, and be sure to say that you are requesting the “$25 140-day license that comes with Machine Learning for Business Analytics, 4th Edition by Shmueli et al.”

2. When you get the course code, share it with students.

3. Direct students to enter the course code at https://www.solver.com/welcome-students; leave the book code blank.
